The weekend is finally here! If you're looking for fun, entertaining, and educational things to do, you've come to the right place. Our weekend guide is packed with a variety of our favorite events that we want to share with you!

1. Red Cedar Foxes Trot 5K

Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020 - 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Red Cedar Elementary Foxes, 10 Box Elder St, Bluffton, SC 29910

Join Red Cedar students race each other towards the finish line this Saturday at the 10th Annual Red Cedar Foxes Trot 5K event! The race aims to attract both the competitive racers and school families for a morning of health and fun with the community! Aside from the actual 5k race, a kiddie fun run will be open for ages 6 and under! Register for a slot now!

2. Community Workout at Henry C. Chambers Park

Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020 - 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM

Humidity Fitness - Home of Crossfit Humidity, 820 Parris Island Gtwy unit C, Beaufort, SC 29906

Working out has never been this fun-- especially since the whole community will be around to join you! Come and register for the free community workout happening at the Henry C. Chambers waterfront park in downtown Beaufort, hosted by Humidity Fitness! Kids are also encouraged to come with the parents, as a KidFit WOD will happen at the same time.

4. Spirit Day: Elizabeth Bowen Fundraiser

Southern Barrel will donate 10% of their sales, and hold a 50/50 raffle plus a silent auction to benefit Elizabeth Bowen and find a cure for her rare disease.

5. Saturday Hilton Head Island Seafood Festival

The 13th Annual Hilton Head Island Seafood Festival is finally here! Grab some tickets for this Saturday's seafood feast at the Honey Horn Plantation and enjoy over 45 food booths, drink tastings, artisans, activities, and various booths! Several local bands will be performing throughout the event, and a celebrity author's book signing is an added treat for the festival-goers. Don't forget to participate in the fun family games, and ride exciting carnival midway rides!

6. Official After Party - Seafood Festival

Don't miss the After Party to one of Hilton Head Island's most anticipated festivals-- come by Palmetto Bay Marina after a day of fun and seafood and join the after-party highlights! Signature drinks, chef tastings, and some music and dancing should be expected. Live music under the stars will be from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM!

7. Swampfire Songwriter Pop-Up

It's the first-ever Swampfire Songwriter Pop-Up at Coligny Theater, and a line-up of 5 talented Lowcountry songwriters will be on stage to sing their original tunes! Registered aspiring songwriters will also participate in a round type format, where each will take turns singing their best composition. Don't miss this exciting opportunity to listen to budding artists, especially if you're into music!

8. Headliner's Annual Bash...Presented by Hilton Head Noon Lion's Club

Join one of this year's biggest events, The Headliners Annual Bash, and enjoy a fun night of dance WITH A CAUSE! This year's theme is Mardi Gras, so make sure to come in your most colorful cocktail dress/suit and bring a mask! Funds raised by The Hilton Head Island Lions Club will support their charitable programs, with a primary focus on eyesight. 

9. LEAP YEAR 2020 MASQUERADE PARTY

It was a busy week, and you deserve to party on Saturday! Show up at the Leap Year 2020 Masquerade Party happening at the New Jade Island Cuisine and dress your best to win fun prizes! DJ of the Year, DJ OJ G.A.B.E, will be dropping some beats with his latest selections of Caribbean, Old School Hip-Hop, Funk, House, and many more! Caribbean Cuisine food trucks and a full top-shelf bar will be available, so let's all have a good time!

10. Page Island Oyster Roast

The 4th Annual Page Island Oyster Roast, a fundraiser for the Kids in Kayaks Scholarship Fund, is happening on Sunday, and you better not miss it! The family-friendly event offers participants a true Lowcountry experience with a roundtrip boat cruise from Harbour Town to the private, remote and pristine Page Island, live music, games and activities for the kids, and a proper oyster roast in authentic Lowcountry fashion! All proceeds of this event go directly to the Kids in Kayaks Scholarship Fund.
