1. 17th Annual Tybee Island Irish Heritage Celebration Parade

When:   March 9, 2019

Tybee Island will be decked out in green with a family-friendly parade including floats, marchers and musical bands. This fun, family-friendly event is done in a unique, quirky way that only Tybee Island can do, and families are encouraged to dress in green and celebrate. The fun starts at 3p.m. at the Tybee City Hall and proceeds down Butler Avenue to Tybrisa Street and is free and open to the public.

2. Two-Day Resin Jewelry Workshop

6. 1000 Lights Water Lantern Festival 2019

Celebrate the good and bright things in life at the 1000 Lights Water Lantern Festival. Drop by with family and friends to experience a magical night as you light up the water with thousands of floating water lanterns. Food trucks and vendors are available onsite to satisfy your cravings, and live entertainment is also available for your music fix. Pack what you would typically bring to a picnic or firework show, including games, blankets, and chairs, to this unique event!

7. Spring Fest: Sheep to Shawl

When:   March 9, 2019
Where:   Oatland Island Wildlife Center

From the sheep’s body to the finished wool product! Observe and participate in the magical creation of a woolen shawl through all the stages of wool processing. Members of The Fiber Guild of the Savannah’s join Oatland staff and volunteers in making this traditional spring celebration fun for the whole family. The Oatland sheep will be sheared throughout the day with demonstrations of carding, spinning, dying and weaving the wool. Crafts, games, hay rides and other children’s activities as well as food concessions will be available.

8. 1st Annual Fashion Show

Royalty at its best - having you feel like the Boss you are as you witness the first ever fashion show by Aggie Dior! Come and show your faces and very unique styles to this fashion show, where you will be able to meet other entrepreneurs in the area as well as music artist, comedians and more.

9. Savannah Stopover Music Festival

Now on its 9th year, the Savannah Stopover Music Festival has hosted such notable up and comers as Grimes, of Montreal, The War On Drugs, Future Islands, Mac Demarco, Margo Price, Julien Baker, St. Lucia, DIIV, Ra Ra Riot, St. Paul & The Broken Bones and hundreds of others before they broke out of the pack. Offering three days of musical discovery, music fans can hop from venue to venue, beer in hand, keeping track of all of their favorite new acts!  A collaborative effort of MusicFile Productions and countless volunteers, partners, vendors, and sponsors, the Savannah Stopover will showcase 80+ bands in small to mid-size venues across Savannah’s walkable Historic District. 

10. Plank or Framed Clock Workshop
