Hilton Head Island

1. Shelter Cove HarbourFest Fireworks

When: Tuesday nights throughout July (8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th) plus a special set on Friday, July 4, after dusk.

Family‐friendly vibes with live music (Shannon Tanner & Oyster Reefers), face painting, carnival games, food vendors—view fireworks from the marina or catch the display aboard a boat cruise. 

Tips: Free shuttle from Hilton Head Community Church helps avoid parking stress

2. Harbour Town, Sea Pines Fireworks


When: Friday, July 4 at ~9 PM over Calibogue Sound 

Pre‑Show: Enjoy Gregg Russell’s patriotic concert under the Liberty Oak (8 PM) 

Nearby Eats: Try Crazy Crab, Quarterdeck, CQ’s, Fraser’s Tavern, or Links American Grill

3. Firecracker 5K & Family Fun

When: Saturday, July 4 – the Hilton Head Firecracker 5K kicks off at 8 AM from Jarvis Creek Park  

A great community event and a sunrise real estate scouting opportunity!

Bluffton

1. Bluffton Independence Day 5K

When:  Wednesday, July 2 – 3 at Oyster Factory Park. 

This fun, early-evening race is a true community celebration—complete with live music by Deas-Guyz. It's also the perfect chance to soak in the town’s charm (and maybe spot your next dream neighborhood!).

2. Bluffton Independence Day Pre‑Party + Fireworks  

When:  Thursday, July 3 – 5–9:30 PM at Martin Family & DuBois Parks.

Games, bounce houses, Parris Island Marine Brass Band, food trucks + fireworks launched at 9 PM from a barge in the May River (best view from Oyster Factory and Wright Family Parks)

Beaufort

1. Firecracker 5K – Bay Street, Beaufort

When:  Friday, July 4 at 8 AM. 

Start your 4th of July with Hilton Head’s iconic Firecracker 5K! Now in its 41st year, this lively race is perfect for competitive runners and families alike. Enjoy a festive morning filled with community spirit and scenic riverfront views.

2. Port Royal ‑ The Sands Beach Celebration

When:  Friday, July 4 – festivities 5–10 PM at Sands Beach. 

Expect food, the U.S. Marine band, and fireworks over the Beaufort River at dusk
