1. Chamber Ball 2019

This black tie event celebrates its members and a year full of accomplishments, awards, milestones and successes. The ball is also to honor those who help define the selflessness and spirit of the Lowcountry, and the annual community awards will be presented: The Alice Glenn Doughtie Good Citizenship Award and the Outstanding Organization of the Year Award, the Bluffton Regional Business Council Member of the Year, the Zonta Woman of the Year, and the Sue West Educator of the Year. 


2. An Afternoon of Jazz - Celebrating the Harlem Renaissance

3. Yoga 101

Yoga 101 is a series of three 90-minute classes starting this Sunday January 27th, each building upon the last. The class format is relaxed and interactive and students are encouraged to ask questions as the class moves through different yoga poses, breathing techniques and meditation. Learn Yoga terminology, both in English and in Sanskrit, how to complete each movement safely and how to modify movements in order to accommodate your own personal abilities (and any injuries you may have or have had). You will also find out how to use yoga props such as blankets, bolsters, blocks and straps, and how to apply the skills you learn in yoga classes, such as alignment, breathing and meditation, to your daily life once you have stepped off your yoga mat. Whether you are a beginner in yoga or not this yoga class is recommended to everyone who would just want to relax, have some time for themselves, and simply want to have a break from the world!


4. 1 Day Workshop: Lowcountry Landscapes in Watercolor with Thomas Hanlon

6. The Peter & Will Anderson Trio

Come to the Jazz Corner and catch the brothers tagged to be the future of jazz! Peter and Will Anderson are one of the most extraordinary set of brothers performing music today. Known for their unique renditions of classic jazz songs and innovative original music, they hail from Washington, DC, but moved to New York City to attend Juilliard. Peter and Will have performed with the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, Village Vanguard Orchestra, Jimmy Heath Big Band, Wycliffe Gordon, Cecile McLorin Salvant, Paquito D’Rivera, Kenny Barron, Bob Wilber, Albert “Tootie” Heath, live on Garrison Keillor’s Prairie Home Companion, and are featured on the 2014 Grammy Winning Soundrack of HBO’s Boardwalk Empire with Vince Giordano’s Nighthawks.


7. Storytime and Activities Featuring Pig the Pug
