1. Cru Kickoff Cookout
When: Saturday, September 2 at 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Where: Jamestown Field (behind Lemon and Hardy Halls)
Start off the school year with an outdoor cook out. Enjoy the usual fare such as hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and soft drinks. Come and go as you please and stay for however long you want.

2. Shops at Sea Pines Center Farmers’ Market
When: Tuesday, September 5 at 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Where: The Shops at Sea Pines Center
Every Tuesday, starting on September 5, there is a Farmers’ Market at The Shops at Sea Pines Center. You can find Lowcountry produce, food, plants, artwork, crafts, jewelry, and fashions.

3. 2017 Yemoja Festival
When: Saturday, September 9 at 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Where: Mitchellville Beach
Head on to Mitchelville Beach at 120 Mitchellville Road in Hilton Head Island and join Oloshas United Atlanta at this year’s Yemoja Festival.

4. September Pink Partini
When: Thursday, September 14 at 5:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Where: Buffalo Wild Wings
Join Pink Magazine and Buffalo Wild Wings of Beaufort at this event dubbed as the “largest ladies’ night out in Lowcountry.” Enjoy great drink specials, savory appetizers, fabulous music and lot of giveaways! Wear your favorite team attire.

5. September’s Full Moon Party Freak Show
When: Friday, September 15 at 1 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Where: Tiki Hut
This exciting beach party features back to back performances of The Get Right Band and The Barons. There will also be stilt walkers, aerial silk performers, and fire dancers to bring in more fun at the beach.

6. 2017 Italian Heritage Festival
When: Saturday, September 16 at 11 a.m.
Where: Honey Horn Plantation | Coastal Discovery Museum
This annual event celebrates all things that are Italian. There will be delicious food, music, games, and fun! Other fun things to expect are dancing, silent auction, grape stomping, Italian wine, and beer.

7. Yacht Hop
When: Sunday, September 17 at 5:30 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Where: Harbour Town Yacht Basin
This dock party is an island favorite where you can hop aboard breathtaking yachts and enjoy savory bites from the area’s best chefs. A live performance from Deas-Guyz will add more excitement to the event.

8. Sunset Grille Sicilian Wine Dinner
When: Monday, September 18 at 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Where: Sunset Grille
Guests will be treated to four courses with each course paired with two wines. Learn more about wines and the stories behind them from “Master of Wine” Bill Nesto, and Frances Di Savino who are both authors of the book The World of Sicilian Wine. Each couple will also receive one copy of the book with the authors’ signatures.
