Marvelous March Events In Hilton Head Island, Bluffton and Beaufort

Get ready for a month-long of fun and surprises this March in Hilton Head, Bluffton, and Beaufort. Make sure that you mark your calendar accordingly and that you have all the energy to be part of everything that's going on around town. We've rounded up the best events for you on this page so you'll have enough time to tag along with your friends and family members.

1. The Art Of Golf Opening Reception 

When: Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Where: Art League of Hilton Head, 14 Shelter Cove Ln, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928

This once-in-a-lifetime art exhibition will feature reproductions of the winners' portraits from the last 50 years of the RBC Heritage Golf Tournament. For the first time ever, the visiting public will be able to view a visual history of the Heritage Golf Tournament through expressive pieces of art in a single exhibition. There are also golf "swag" items which will be raffled off during the reception. Works from more than 150 other local artists are also on exhibit and are available for sale. The event is free and open to the public. 


2. 24th Annual Judged Show

When: Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Where: Society of Bluffton Artists, 6 Church St, Bluffton, SC 29910

The Society of Bluffton Artists (SoBA) is calling out all local artists to submit their entries for the 24th Annual Judged Show. Interested artists are asked to fill out a registration form available at the gallery or through www.sobagallery.com/24th-annual-judged-show. The event will be open to the first 100 entries. Entry fee is at $25 for SoBA members and at $35 for non-members. Artwork should be delivered from 9 to 11 a.m. on Monday, March 5 at the Center for Creative Arts located next door to the SoBA gallery on Church Street. Entries delivered after 11 a.m. will no longer be accepted.


3. BravoPiano! Festival - Gala Opening & Reception 

When: Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

Where: The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa, 2 Grasslawn Ave, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928

Three-time award winning pianist Steven Lin opens the BravoPiano Festival with a recital which will be followed by a reception. The performance lineup includes works by Chopin, Debussy, Gerswhin, Mendelssohn, Bach & Liszt. For ticket purchase, you can call 843-842-2055 or visit www.hhipc.org.


4. Large Animal Rescue Team And Small Farm Assistance

When: Thursday, March 8 at 5 p.m.

Where: Burton Wells Recreation Complex, 1 Middleton Recreation Drive, Beaufort, SC 29906 

Join the Beaufort County Animal Services in this event where they will discuss large animal rescue team, ordinances, and resources in order to assist those in need. RSVP at [email protected] or call 843-255-5010. You can also send a message to their FB page.


5. Southern Barrel Beer Pairing Dinner

When: Friday, March 9, 2018 at 6 p.m.

Where: Wild Wing Cafe, 1188 Fording Island Rd, Bluffton, SC 29910   

This exclusive event will feature craft beers paired with an amazing four-course dinner. Guests can also enjoy live entertainment by Harry Santana. Each guest will go home with a party favor along with the chance to win a few raffled prizes. Tickets are priced at $40 per person. Be sure to purchase today at the Bluffton store as tickets are very limited.


6. Hilton Head Island St. Patrick's Day Parade

When: Friday, March 11, 2018 at 6 p.m.

Where: Hilton Head Island

Get your green on, call your friends, and celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the Hilton Head Island St. Patrick's Day Parade. We are proud to announce that the 35th Anniversary Grand Marshal is Dr. Emory Shaw Campbell! Be a part of the fun, along with an estimated 25,000 attendees! 7. PPEC Book Discussion: Beyond Beliefs By Dr. Melanie Joy

When: Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. EDT

Where: Barnes & Noble (Hilton Head Island, SC)

Learn how to use the right tools so you can cultivate, repair and even strengthen healthy connections. Dr. Melanie Joy, an internationally recognized food psychology expert and longtime relationship coach, will provide easy-to-understand, actionable advice so you can: 1. learn the important tools and principles for building healthy relationships; 2. understand how to effectively communicate about topics including the most challenging ones; and 3. recognize the psychology of being vegan|vegetarian or of being a meat eater and how it affects your relationships with others as well as with yourself.


8. Sip For A Cause 2018 With Zonta HHI

When: Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Where: Hilton Head Island - Shipyard Beach Club

This spring fundraising event is an evening of wine and beer tasting, hors-d'oeuvres, Silent and Chance auctions. The proceeds shall benefit local organizations such as Hopeful Horizons as well as provide educational scholarships for young women in the Hilton Head area. It's also a great opportunity to represent the club in the state and national programming as they pursue their on-going missions which aim to bring awareness to eliminate violence against women and hope to survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. 9. Dauzat St. Marie & Jo Smith At The Roasting Room

When: Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 8 p.m. - 11 p.m.

Where: The Roasting Room, 1297 May River Rd, Bluffton, SC 29910 

Catch Los Angeles singer|songwriter power duo Dauzat St. Marie perform live at the Roasting Room on March 15. The event will also feature Rolling Stone's "10 New Country Artists You Need To Know" Jo Smith.


10. Randy Melvin Memorial Golf Tournament Cocktail Party

When: Friday, March 23, 2018 at 7 p.m. - 10 p.m.

Where: The Tavern in Royal Pines, 139 Francis Marion Cir, Beaufort, SC 29907 

This cocktail party is a kick off event to the Randy Melvin Memorial Golf Tournament. You can visit www.rdmmemorial.org for more information.


11. Fire And Rain

When: Friday, March 30, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Where: USCB Center for the Arts, 805 Carteret St., Beaufort, SC 29902  

Get ready to ride a wave of emotion as award-winning, Juno-nominated artists, Jim Witter and Giselle Sanderson bring you to a nostalgic musical journey with their rendition of songs made popular by James Taylor and Carole King.
