Beadazzled: Artistry in Beads Exhibition

"A Night in Bethlehem" living nativity at St. Luke's Church

Arts Center of Coastal Carolina presents Disney's "Newsies"

When: Dec6-31, 2017.
Where: Arts Center of Coastal Carolina

Suited for all ages, this show features the rousing tale of a charismatic newsboy named Jack Kelly who dreams of a better life far from the streets. His story began when publishing titans Joseph Pulitzer and William Randolph Hearst raise distribution prices at the newsboys' expense. Jack decided to fight for a cause and rally newsies from across the city to strike and take a stand for what's right. Enjoy an evening of inspirational storytelling in the best possible sense with rousing songs, high-energy dance numbers, and an uplifting story. Slated to happen at the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina, the event will also showcase the music of Alan Menken with the lyrics provided by Jack Feldman. Based on a book written by Harvey Fierstein, "Newsies" will run from December 6 to December 31, 2017. Full priced tickets are at $59 for adults and at $46 for children. David Roth Performs At Music On Malphrus

Celebrate David Roth's 30 years of being a full-time folk music artist at this family-friendly event of live acoustic performances from musicians who tour both nationally and internationally. A Chicago native (now living in Cape Cod), David Roth is the artist behind songs such as "Rising In Love," "Earth," "Manuel Garcia," "I Stand For Love," and more. His songs have found their way to the United Nations; Carnegie Hall; a number of Chicken Soup for the Soul books; NASA's Space Shuttle Atlantis; the Kennedy Center; Peter, Paul and Mary and Kingston Trio CDs (and 13 of his own); the "Rise Up Singing" and "Rise Again" (sequel) songbooks; 4 Positive Music Awards; and numerous venues both locally and internationally for three decades!
